2025/26学年第一学期的选课即将开始,现将相关事宜通知如下,请各位留意:


一、 模拟选课(试选)


学校已按同学就读专业的学习计划预先注册指定的必修课程。请同学在以下模拟选课系统开放期间登录网上选课系统 https://mis.uic.edu.cn/mis/login.jsp 查看必修课的时间安排,并熟悉选课系统的操作方法。


注意:在模拟选课结束后,学校将重置选课系统,即同学在模拟选课期间所注册的课程及其生成的数据将无效。

二、 正式选课


同学需在下述指定选课时间段内根据个人选课意愿通过网上选课系统 https://mis.uic.edu.cn/mis/login.jsp注册选修课程,包括专业选修课(ME)、自由选修课(FE)、数学选修课FE(Math)、全人教育选修课WPEX(EI)、通识教育选修课(GE) 和体育选修课(UCHL)

三、 轮候递补名单


§ 选课系统的轮候递补功能适用于所有选修课程,包括专业选修课(ME)、自由选修课(FE)、数学选修课FE(Math)、全人教育选修课WPEX(EI)、通识教育选修课(GE)    体育选修课(UCHL)


§ 当某门选修课的名额已满时,你可以选择将其添加到该课程的轮候名单中。


§ 一旦有同学放弃并退选该课程,系统将根据你在轮候名单中的位置自动为你注册该课程。


§ 有关轮候名单的详细使用说明,请参阅附件中的指南。


§ 学校于选课系统中的轮候递补名单是为了更好地了解同学们对各课程的需求,针对性地配置教学资源,在确保教学质量不变的前提下,适当增加热门选修课的名额,必要时增开班次,以满足同学的兴趣需求。


§ 在选课期间未能成功加入某课程但已加入该课程轮候名单的同学将在新增名额或增开班次时,享有加入该课的优先权,相关通知将在上述选课程序结束后及Add/Drop阶段开始前通过邮件发送,请同学们及时查看邮箱。


四、 选课特别调整登记(企业微信)


同学若因获准转专业转学分、需重修指定课程或其他特殊情况而需调整新学期的学习计划,请在企业微信“2025-26学年第一学期选课特别调整登记问卷(企业微信-工作台-Teaching & Learning Services-课程调整)准确填写所需更改注册的必修课、选修课程类別或选修课程类别下所需的学分,老师将在核实相关信息后尽量在正式选课系统开放前在系统内做出相应更新。

五、 其他注意事项


§ 全日制同学如希望在第一学期注册学分低于15个学分或超过21个学分,需要向所属学院的院长申请并获得批准。


§ 请勿使用第三方软件进行刷课,一经发现,将汇报给学生纪律委员会给予处罚。

Dear Students,

The online course selection exercise for Semester 1 of AY2025/26 will begin soon. Please see below the arrangements:


I. Trial Run

Required courses have been pre-registered based on your program's study plan. You are strongly encouraged to log into the course selection system (https://mis.uic.edu.cn/mis/login.jsp) to check the selection you have to make and get yourself familiar with the operation of the course selection system

Note: After the trial run, the system will be reset, and all courses selected during this period will also be reset.


Trial Run Period: 14 to 16 July 2025 (9:00-17:00) & 17 July 2025 (9:00-10:00)

II. Formal Run

Students are required to register for elective courses (including Major Electives (ME), Free Electives (FE), Free Electives - Math (FE(Math)), Whole-Person Education (WPEX, excluding EI courses), General Education (GE), and University Core – Healthy Lifestyles (UCHL)) via the course selection system (https://mis.uic.edu.cn/mis/login.jsp) during the specified period.

III. Course Waiting List

·        The waiting list feature applies to all elective courses.

·        If a course is full, you may add it to the waiting list.

·        If a spot becomes available, the system will automatically enroll you in the course according to your position in the waiting list.

·        For detailed instructions on using the waiting list feature, please refer to the attached guide.

·        Information collected through the waiting list feature helps the Course Offering Units to understand student preference and consider feasible resources reallocation, such as increasing quotas or adding new sections for popular courses.

·        Students who join the waiting list but do not secure a place during the course selection period will be put on the priority list whenever additional quota are released or new sections are offered. Notifications will be sent via email before the Add/Drop Period begins.


IV. Special Course Adjustment (via WeCom)

If you need to adjust your study plan as a result of approved program transfer/unit transfer, or previous failure in mandatory courses, or other special circumstances, please complete the “Special Course Adjustment for AY2025-26 Sem1” form on WeCom (WeCom – Workspace – Teaching & Learning Services – Course Adjustment). Your application for special course adjustment will be reviewed and processed before the formal run of course selection.


Open Period: 14 to 16 July 2025 (9:00-17:00 Daily) & 17 July 2025 (9:00-10:00)


V. Notes

·        Full-time students registering for fewer than 15 units or more than 21 units must obtain approval from their home Faculty/School.

·        Do not use any third-party software for course selection. Violations will be reported to the Student Disciplinary Committee.
