Course Description

This course is a continuation of Calculus I. It provides a solid foundation in multivariable calculus to prepare students for more advanced mathematics and statistical subjects.


Course Intended Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to

· Calculate limits, partial derivatives and multiple integrals of multivariate calculus;

· Apply the fundamental techniques for multivariate calculus, and distinguish the relationship among some concepts, for example, continuity, partial derivatives, differentiation and so on;

· Solve related mathematical problems using multivariable calculus.

Eligibility

A student who is currently studying for a bachelor degree.

MATH1073 Calculus I/ MATH1103 Calculus/ MATH1123 Calculus for Science and Engineering


Course Fee

  2. RMB7,500 for the students from other colleges/ universities.
