Course Description

This course aims to provide students with the practical knowledge and critical skills necessary to effectively consider visual design an essential and inevitable component of their work as public relations and advertising practitioners. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to identify the role of visual messages and apply related concepts to their analysis.


Course Intended Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to

· Integrate theories and practical skills of public relations and advertising in professional contexts;

· Formulate strategies for individual and team success;

· Practise public relations and advertising professionalism in local and international contexts;

· Conduct relevant research in relation to the creation and dissemination of public relations and advertising messages;

· Develop critical thinking and problem solving abilities.

  2. RMB7,500 for the students from other colleges/ universities.


Accomodation Fee

  1. UIC students (Non-graduates): RMB10/ Person/ Day

  2. UIC graduates: RMB60/ Person/ Day

  3. HKBU, HKCHC and other students: RMB60/ Person/ Day


Note: The standard fee for summer accommodation in student hostel for 2025 is subject to final confirmation.
