Procedure for Student Booklet Replacement (Online)

The Student Booklet serves as a form of student identification and is primarily used to facilitate the purchase of train tickets, often with a discount.


1. Submit Your Application

Submit your application via the BNBU Portal: https://portal.uic.edu.cn.


2. One Application Per Semester

The online system permits only one application per semester. If you have already submitted an application during the current semester, please contact the Academic Registry (AR) at ar_sss@uic.edu.cn for alternative arrangements.


3. Processing Time

Applications are typically processed within 5 working days. You will receive an email notification once your Student Booklet is ready for collection.


4. Collection of the New Booklet

Once your booklet is ready, you will receive an email notification to collect it from the AR Information Desk. It can be collected in the following ways:

      a) In Person: Bring valid identification (e.g., ID card or passport).

      b) By an Authorized Person: The authorized person must present an authorization letter. The Authorization Form can be downloaded from the AR Homepage Current Students Applications and Forms Authorization Letter.
