Course Description
This course aims to prepare the student for a successful business career by providing them with a broad understanding of the importance and complexity of strategic decisions and how they require an integration of all aspects of business operations. It focuses on developing the skills required of senior/general managers to diagnose business problems and opportunities and to develop and implement effective courses of action.
Course Intended Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to
· Differentiate the types of business strategy;
· Analyse the strategic decision-making process of senior management at large, medium and small size enterprises;
· Integrate theories of business strategies to formulate business decisions;
· Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms to defend proposed strategic decisions.

A student who is currently studying for a bachelor degree.

RMB5,000 for UIC, HKBU and HKCHC students;
RMB7,500 for the students from other colleges/ universities.
Accomodation Fee
UIC students (Non-graduates): RMB10/ Person/ Day
UIC graduates: RMB60/ Person/ Day
HKBU, HKCHC and other students: RMB60/ Person/ Day
Note: The standard fee for summer accommodation in student hostel for 2025 is subject to final confirmation.
